I first became aware of the Romet through an advertisement I received in the mail. I had been using the NuVois which performed well but I did not like the sound of my electronic voice. Previously, I had tried both the Cooper Rand and the Servox but neither did anything for me. Soon after I received the the first advertisement for the Romet, I received a flyer from Communicative Medical, which is located near Portland, Oregon, announcing the Romet..  Since I was going to spend the Christmas holidays in Portland I made immediate plans to visit Communicative Medical during my trip.   When I tried the Romet at Communicative Medical my immediate reaction was "Yes, this is what I have been looking for!"   My wife and sister-in-law both made the same comment.

I purchased the Romet then and there and I've been using it ever since. In fact, I liked it so much that the next time I was in the Portland area, in early January, I purchased another Romet for use as a backup.
